Hesleden Primary school was initially awarded the Rights Respecting Award Level 1 in December 2009.
In March 2016 we were reaccredited with Level 1 again.
In March 2019, we were accredited with our first GOLD award. We are very proud of this achievement.
The School Council/Rights Respecting group and other Pupil Voice groups represented the school very well, speaking to our visitors and providing an overview of the school through their eyes.

Our Rights Respecting Steering group have helped to plan and organise Rights refreshers for each group, or class.
